Mr. Benard Kakuhikire

Benard Kakuhikire retired from the public service on June 10, 2022. He retired after serving 14 years at the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, Mbarara University of Science and Technology, as a lecturer, senior lecturer, Head of Department, Director of the Institute, and Dean of the Faculty. He taught Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics with a strong liking for environmental /ecological ethics.

Bernard is an entrepreneur in theory and practice. He mentors young entrepreneurs and practices entrepreneurship mainly through his construction firm. He is also the Director in charge of Entrepreneurship at the Center for Research and Development (CERUDEV), which provides career guidance and outreach programs to small and microenterprises in East Africa.
