Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Mbarara for a Business Operations Lead. He/She will report directly to the CEO. The Business Operations Lead will oversee all business operations and ensure that the organization runs smoothly. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of technology and innovation environments and non-profit organizations. The Business Operations Lead will collaborate with various teams to optimize processes, implement best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the hub.
This includes developing and implementing operational policies and procedures, sales and marketing plans, assessing and improving business processes, and working closely with team members to ensure that day-to-day operations run efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
At least a Diploma in any Business, Management, Social, and Computer-related fields with;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a business operations role within a technology or innovation-driven company or a not-for-profit organization
- Strong understanding of technology and innovation processes and ecosystems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Marketing and Digital communication skills
- Experience in project planning and management
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Solid understanding of technology trends, innovation processes, and technology industry landscape.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their impact on business operations.
